Fraud controversy[edit]
On September 24th, 2019, Roflfox noticed that he received several fraudulent charges on his bank account totaling $150. When looking into it, Roflfox discovered that a few of the charges were located where excalibur! resided, and that the credits cards being used were his own private cards. As he had housed excalibur! for Glitch 7, Roflfox accused excalibur! for fraud and later reported the theft to the police.[1]
excalibur! would later admit to the fraud through a mutual friend.[2]. He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor and, in March 2020, was sentenced to a year of supervised probation and 40 hours of community service.[3]
