WHOBO was a Super Smash Bros. Brawl national tournament held in Houston, Texas, from April 10th-12th, 2009, hosted by Xyro. The tournament was the first tournament of the WHOBO series. The tournament was infamous for sparking the debate over whether Meta Knight should be banned in tournaments, as 7 of the top 8 players used Meta Knight, the sole exception being CO18.
