Infobox years[edit]

Why are you adding "years ago" stuff to the infoboxes? It doesn't seem like important information to note. Was this discussed anywhere? --CanvasK (talk) 07:16, November 11, 2022 (EST)

Wikipedia had "years ago" in a foundation date or event date. Whether or not they appeared in the latest work is also important. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tempest Tales (talkcontribs) 07:20, November 11, 2022 (EST)
For one, we aren't Wikipedia; I'm not aware of any other NIWA wiki that does that for characters. Two, from a quick glance that type of thing isn't used for characters or even franchises. We already note if they appeared in the latest work, so I'm not sure what you mean by that. --CanvasK (talk) 07:25, November 11, 2022 (EST)
It's easy to know how long it's been since their last appearance. Tempest Tales (talk) 07:30, November 11, 2022 (EST)
Yeah, it is easy to know how long it's been with simple subtraction. Adding "years ago" with the age template is just extra work with next to no pay off. --CanvasK (talk) 07:34, November 11, 2022 (EST)

Your block[edit]

When an admin tells you to not do something, you listen. Edit warring is bad enough by itself, but to blatantly disregard an admin's warning and edit war where you're clearly in the wrong? That's a clear block for you, keep the behavior up when your block is over and the subsequent blocks will be more harsh. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 07:38, May 24, 2023 (EDT)

I'll consult with the Proprietor, Porplemontage. It is a problem caused by a conflict between my opinion and the other user's opinion. It's true that there are users born in 1999 than 1989 on this wiki. Tempest Tales (talk) 07:42, May 24, 2023 (EDT)
There is no "consulting with the proprietor", no one is going to overturn your block nor is anyone going to side with you in an edit war where you are clearly in the wrong. Keep this attitude up and your block will be extended. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 07:46, May 24, 2023 (EDT)
I'll consult from the MarioWiki and change our minds. Tempest Tales (talk) 07:51, May 24, 2023 (EDT)

I know what I did wrong. I will read the guidelines, and don't blame others and listen to what admins have to say. Tempest Tales (talk) 09:28, June 1, 2023 (EDT)

I was reflecting after a week, but I said something stupid on your talk page without finding the cause of block. Tempest Tales (talk) 11:19, June 1, 2023 (EDT)

I said what I wanted to say on user talk page, but I acknowledged this was nonsense. I lately found the Discord messages. I want to unblock and editing my user page. Tempest Tales (talk) 13:58, June 1, 2023 (EDT)

Cookies and Creme: “A decision has been made” what? --11:33, May 24, 2023 (EDT)

CanvasK: "Outdated" because the chosen dates were set in 2006. Guess all of ssbwiki is outdated because it was made more than 15 years ago --11:56, May 24, 2023 (EDT)

why are they so obsessed with one single template across multiple wikis --04:10, June 1, 2023 (EDT)

CanvasK: He really thought that making Wikipedia change their dates on their template would mean anything to us? And two editors over there (one being an admin) essentially said what we said; "it really doesn't matter, they're fine as is" --06:02, June 1, 2023 (EDT)

Meester Tweester: What are they even talking about? Why does it matter what the example dates are? --04:22, June 1, 2023 (EDT)
