Fire services
The Surrey Fire Service (SFS) is the first on scene at residential and commercial structure fires, motor vehicle accidents, medical emergencies, hazardous materials incidents and technical rescue calls.
The SFS also handles Emergency Preparedness for the City, as well as the HomeSafe program, which provides free smoke alarms to the community.
Surrey Police Service
Surrey Police Service (SPS) is the municipal police agency for the City of Surrey. Serving one of Canada’s fastest growing and most diverse cities, SPS has a policing model founded in respectful community collaboration and engagement.
The SPS Headquarters is located in Newton, and the five Community Police Offices are in Whalley/City Centre, Guildford/Fleetwood, Newton, Cloverdale, and South Surrey. Learn more about your local police service.
