Bronze Bearing for Tubes

These industry standard bearings are manufactured from continuous cast bronze, conforming to AS1565 grade C83600 (BS1400 LG2). Progressive sizes LG2 Bronze Bearings are available in imperial and metric measure, indexed by the inside diameter.

Pump Parts

Intermediate Bowl

Pump bowls are produced with the material best suited for the application. Pump bowls are accurately machined and fitted to close tolerances. The bowl waterways are lined with a vitreous enamel to reduce friction losses and provide maximum efficiency and wear protection.

Discharge Case

Discharge cases are produced with by-pass ports for the release of fluids through the throttle bearing. All discharge cases are threaded for connection to the discharge column pipe. They are also fitted with a Bowl Adapter Tube for connection to the enclosing tube. The Bowl Adapter Tube is produced with a bronze sleeve bearing on the bottom and threaded for a bronze line shaft bearing on top.

Impeller

Impellers are produced with the material appropriate to application requirements and machined, balanced, and filed for optimum performance. Impellers are securely fastened to the shaft with a taper split collet produced from C1215 steel or SS316 stainless steel.

Suction Case

Suction cases are fitted with a replaceable wear ring of bismuth bronze C89835 and a grease packed bismuth bronze C89835 bearing. They are also protected by a bismuth bronze C89835 sand collar.
