Coleen Nolan had her breakthrough in 1974 when, as a member of The Nolans music group, she appeared on the television series entitled “It's Cliff Richard!”. Five years later, the group released perhaps their most popular single entitled "I'm In the Mood for Dancing". In 2009, she helped the band to publish their 15th studio album entitled “I'm in the Mood Again”.
Other works
Nolan is also famous for her works as an author. She published a book in 2009 titled “Upfront and Personal: The Autobiography”. The following year, she launched her first novel which was under the title “Envy”.
She’s also a television personality and has appeared on shows like “Celebrity Big Brother” and “Loose Women”.
Family
During her time with The Nolans, she performed alongside her sisters Linda Nolan, Bernie Nolan, Maureen Nolan, Denise Nolan and Anne Nolan.
Her marriage to British entertainer Shane Richie ended in 1999. In 2007, she became the wife of Ray Fensome, but the couple parted ways in 2018. Her three children include singer Jake Roche.
Achievements
With the aforementioned group, she won a Japan Record Award in 1991.
