About Oliver Kahn
Oliver Kahn, also known by the nickname “The Titan”, is a retired German football goalkeeper who was an important member of the Germany national football team from 1994 to 2006. He began his professional career in 1987 with Karlsruher SC, where he played until his 1994 move to Bayern Munich, with whom he played until his retirement in 2008. He is recognized by many football pundits as one of the greatest goalkeepers in the history of football.
Personal Life
In 1999, he got married to Simone. The marriage produced two children before officially ending in 2009. His second marriage was to Svenja in 2011. He and Svenja welcomed a son that same year.
Achievements
Throughout his professional career, he won numerous trophies with Bayern Munich, including a UEFA Champions League title and eight Bundesliga titles. He was awarded the Best Bundesliga Keeper seven times and the IFFHS World's Best Goalkeeper three times.
Trivia
In 2010, he was fined $182,223 in his home country after being found guilty of tax evasion.
