R. Madhavan is an award-winning Indian actor who kick-started his acting career in 1996 by appearing on the soap opera Banegi Apni Baat. He went on to establish himself as a successful actor playing notable roles such as Karthik Varadharajan in 2000's Alaipayuthey, Madhav Shastri in 2001's Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein and Thirumoorthy in 2012's Vettai. Besides acting, he is also a film producer and writer.
Family Life
He is the son of Saroja and Ranganathan Seshadri. In 1999, he married Sarita Birje. The couple had their first child together in 2005.
