When most people think of Las Vegas they think of The Strip. They don't think about the other areas around. The best part about these places is they are located off The Strip. Living in Vegas for 12 years and then moving away, the food is something that I miss. Here are some of my favorite places to stop at while I am visiting.
1. Nothing Bundt Cakes
This store offers a wide variety of flavors. The cream cheese frosting is to die for and so is the soft moisture of the cake. They have bundt cakes for every occasion and all different sizes. Whenever I go I always get the small bundt cake and I eat it in seconds.
2. Raising Canes Chicken Fingers
These are the best chicken fingers that I have ever had. The special sauce is a must. Fun fact, this restaurant is named after the owner's dog, Cane.
3. Cafe Zupas
If you are looking for a healthier option, then this is the place for you. It reminds me of Panera Bread, but it is a lot fresher and has healthier ingredients. My favorite thing about this place is that they give you a chocolate covered strawberry for free with your meal.
4. Bad Owl Coffee
This cafe has a "Harry Potter" inspired setting. They have quotes from the movie on their tables! They offer desserts and foods.
5. Marché Bacchus
One of my favorite things about this place is that it makes me feel like I am in California. You can sit back, relax and enjoy your meal next to the water.
Next time you are in town venture away from The Strip and try some of these places!
