When You Have Your First Child

It's a whirlwind.

When You Have Your First Child

I had my first child last year on December 31st, 2015. Everyone always asks me how it feels to be a mother, and I'm sure I speak for all mothers out there when I say that there really is no answer in this world to describe how it makes you feel. When I say that it is the best feeling in the world, it does not explain how great it actually is. To this day I still can't believe that I am blessed with such an amazingly smart little girl.

Don't get me wrong though, there are days that are rougher than others. Some days she just does not want to stop whining or she won't sleep through the night and it will stress you out. On the other side of the situation though, she just wants your love and attention and sometimes it is hard to look through all of the chaos.

When your child is sad and the only thing to make it all better is by being held in your arms and they hug all of the worries out makes you just melt. It really showed me that I have a purpose in life, and that is to make my child and future children the happiest they can be by giving them all the love in the world, because your children love you more than anything in this world.

As I sit here in tears thinking about how far my child has come, how great she has developed, and all the love in the world I have for her, I still could not give you a sentence to tell you how amazing it feels to be a parent. To the people who ask why I can not explain to you how it feels, let me just say that I could write a book to explain just how it feels to be a mother and how much I love my daughter.

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.
