Are we really going to start complaining about this basketball team now?

They don’t appear to be very good. ??

This says more about the strength of the SEC than the weakness of LSU. The conference is absolutely loaded this season. Besides, LSU has 3 quality wins against Kansas State, UCF and Florida State.

The basketball team is improved.
Much improved. But conference play is going to be a gauntlet. Still more likely than not to finish in the bottom fourth of the league imo.

I definitely see improvement, more passing, better defense, and should have won today…. But the SEC is better, too…

Uhh, outside of the sunshit pumpers, i.e. not actual basketball fans Coach MM’s product has been poor.

But idiots on here dont watch and then come make general statements like, “I love disciplined basketball!”

MM’s a good recruiter but his teams are far from disciplined. We play good one game and shitty the next.

Truly a jeckly and hide team from game to game, half to half. For seceral years now.

And a NET ranking that has literally been NOWHERE close to high enough to make the ncaa tourney since he’s been here.

Wade used to have us sitting top 25 in NET regularly which is why we were a tourney team year in year out with WW.

You mean the team that’s lost it’s leader for the season to a knee injury and the other expected “leader” quit when he learned some of the younger players were taking some of his playing time? Surprise! They struggled on the road.

Yep, it looks like a team that has improved, but still missing that leader, that star player; that may be there, but hasn’t emerged. Injuries may be that answer…

Joe Lunardi said this morning that the SEC is having, probably, the best non-conference performance in history! That’s all conferences, all-time. That says a ton about how strong the conference is this season.

By the way, as of right now, Lunardi projects 12 SEC teams to make the NCAA tournament….which would be an all-time high by any conference ever!

Does that make you feel better?

McNeese lost to top 25 ranked Ms State, at Starkville, by three points.

They also lost to top ten Alabama, in Tuscaloosa, a couple weeks back by eight points. They out scored Alabama in the 2nd half.

You win some, you lose some. This season was always going to be as a bubble team. If you're complaining now, you might as well bail, because the SEC slate is going to be a veritable murderers row, for everyone and LSU's going to definitely be in the bottom half of the league...... and could still make the tourney.
