Outdoor Antenna

Posted by justjoe906 on 3/7/25 at 2:37 pm
Cutting cable and need a recommended outdoor antenna for the Baton Rouge area. I also see they have attic installed antennas. Some say 60 mile up to 200 mile range. I'm planning on just mounting on the side of the house without an extended pole however, attic installed would also work. I don't buy into the 200 mile range ones I do have one large tree in the yard so not sure what interference that will pose. I should've done this years ago. Thanks
Perhaps Trump is mentioned too many times in the files.

who the hell watches this stuff who has beyond a high school education?

Probably lots of people....
I use the VA Clinic in Baton Rouge and I've always thought they were employee heavy.
Because of Polyps I'm on an every 3 year schedule. I did the big old horse pills the last time. Somewhat better than the liquid.
Unless it's LSU and they're so far behind that it doesn't matter.
Yet no coverage from the mainstream media, or I didn't see any
I hate tornadoes, for the most part you can prepare for a hurricane because you know it's coming days in advance. A tornado is a different animal.

We're seniors and downsizing our house needs to a smaller location. We have too much stuff and would like to donate items to a reputable charity. Quiet a bit of stuff such as kitchen items, clothing, furniture, books, garage items etc etc
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I was working in Ky a few yeas ago and went to Fort Knox. I was able to drive by and see the reserve building. Very impressive, perhaps it was the mystery of if in fact it is full of gold.

I'm going to have to hear more. My doctor said the next move is a "procedure". Is this outpatient stuff? Downtime?

Yes, it was an out-patient procedure at the Surgery Center on Bluebonnet in Baton Rouge.
Worst part was having the catheter in place for 24 hours. Total downtime was about 4 days from start to finish.
You can Google laser prostate surgery to view several videos. Overall experience wasn't that bad. Worst part as mentioned was the catheter in place and office visit the next day to have it removed.
The pain really wasn't that bad considering the relief.

Dude needs to get on some Flomax

Yep but that only works for awhile. I had laser prostate surgery for enlarged prostate a few years ago. One of the best decisions I ever made

LSU's odds to win the football NC on Kalshi just crashed from 5% to 2%.

I'm surprised it's even that high.

Every year these clowns jump out and talk about how great their team is after playing basically glorified high school teams.

Baton Rouge 1-10 Washington St exit.

They're promoting the idea of closing the Washington Street exit on 1-10 east bound in Baton Rouge. I'm not sure that's going to make any difference at all with the major traffic congestion in that area. I guess a "new bridge" will not happen during anyone's lifetime that's currently over 20 years old.
