I guess you forgot a reasonably talented lsu team lost to Nicholls State last yea

Brady had a few of those as did Wade. Every coach does..

This basketball team would get destroyed by Brady’s first team

So you think Chico Potts was better than DJI Bailey? Perhaps, but was Maurice or Cam the best Carter? Who was the better Collins, Dejuan or Damion? Was Rhodari the Snake better than Corey the Cobra? Was the Duke of Earl better than the Fountain of Flaw?

I don't know which team wins but the moribundity prevails for each.

He paid players from his wife’s checking account

That did not involve an LSU player. It was his prior stop.
Go Tigers. Fixing to start raining threes purple and gold style. Robert Miller gonna channel his inner Walter Mccarty and Jordan Sears his Tony Delk.
There is a town in North Ontario
Dream comfort memory to spare
And in my mind I still need a place to go
All my changes were there

Leave us

Helpless, helpless, helpless, helpless
Babe, can you hear me now?
The chains are locked and tied across the door
Baby, sing with me somehow

When was last time/year Saints were BELOW the Salary Cap and who was GM ???

When was the last season prior to 2024 that the Saints won fewer than 7 games and were out of the playoff picture with two games left? Every year and every move have not ended up well, but on balance this franchise has had a 20 year run like few others. Brees gets a lot of the credit, but Loomis put all the complementary pieces around him. Some of you are such a spoiled arse fan base.

Remember Cade Beloso simply jumping up and down? Gone for the year.

Mason Smith did the same.

The divide between public and private schools is going to be worse with the vouchers. Private schools will see this as a free stipend among thousands of families and accordingly raise tuition prices.

Supply and demand will still prevail. They can only charge tuition to the extent families can afford it whether by LAGATOR, privately or a combination of the two.
I am very thankful we have coaches on this board cause that guy in the dugout sure doesn't know what he is doing.

Toss in the fact that WJBO on AM radio was where the games were broadcast, so daytime games were almost impossible to tune in if you weren't in Baton Rouge proper.

I graduated LSU in 1974 and moved to Pensacola for a job. I could get the football games on WWL, but they did not carry LSU basketball games. I lived in the Warrington community of Pensacola a few miles outside of the Navy Base. Due to some weird atmospheric quirk I was able to receive the night time basketball broadcasts on WJBO while driving along about a two mile stretch of nearby Old Corry Road. So I drove up and down the road several times listening to Dick Walcott's broadcast of the Tigers against the ten team SEC league. The Doctor Kenny Higgs was the freshman star. I returned to BR in 1976 which coincided with the arrival of Rudy, Cookie Man, Jordy, Walter Davis followed by The Astronaut and EEEEEE Martin as the Fantastic Climb to the Top was under way under Dale Brown.
Heady times, but being able to get those broadcasts in Pensacola kept me connected to the program when they were not yet a national powerhouse.

Like myself Write the Athletic office showing displeasure in choosing D1 to broadcast games.

I remember when there were no college baseball telecasts. I remember when there was only one SEC basketball game broadcast on Saturday so you watched only 2-5 games a year. I remember when There were only 2 LSU football games televised every year.

Some of you people are some spoiled arse entitled complainers.

The good schools will simply up tuition or not participate. Reading the guidelines perhaps Catholic schools bc they need the money.

Why would they not participate? Over 250 schools have signed on. The funding is over $7,000 per student and covers tuition, books , supplies, uniforms, tutoring etc.

Again, I would like to hear how the application process went. Any glitches?

Nobody will ever see a dime from this except those kids that were already getting vouchers.

Not true.

in 2025, 250% of the federal poverty level (FPL) in the continental United States is: $37,650 for a single person, $64,550 for a family of three, and $104,900 for a family of six.

He qualifies. His wife left him for another guy, moved out of state, has a criminal history and contributes nothing in support of their three kids. The oldest is a senior , but the two younger ones brothers are in high school and junior high.
quote:

Your son’s family is within 250% of the federal poverty guideline?

Yes, clearly qualifies.

He was renting a condemned house to a blind man confined to a wheel chair. How can a guy like that be a community leade

No , monsieur, the blind man was a lookout.
Today was the first day to apply. The process has been farmed out to a vendor. I half expected their system to crash due to the volume. Just wondering how it went. My son will be filing for my grandsons.

How do I make her realize that she'll look back at this someday and wonder why she ever cared.

Advise

Mama Cass said it best:

Hey, did somebody break your heart
With a careless word?
Did someone tear your life apart
Never knowing you were hurt?
Or did somebody try to break you in two
For a laugh, to see what you would do?
Well, if someone broke your heart, let me fix it up for you

Anyone could look into your eyes (Anyone)
And see what you've been through
But now you've got to realize
There's just one broken heart, not two
It's only happening to you, it's true
Don't you know what he would do?
He's out having some fun
While you stay at home having none
He doesn't even know; he doesn't even care
It doesn't even matter if you're even there

Step out, step out on him tonight
Step out, step out, step out with me now, mmm
Let me fix it up for you
Step out, step out, step out on him, girl
Step out, step out with me now
Let me fix it up for you
