Saif Ali Khan Health Update: Actor Is 'Out Of Danger' After Getting Attacked By Robber, Team Issues New Statement
In a recent shocking event, Saif Ali Khan was reportedly stabbed six times during a burglary attempt at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai. Late on the night of January 16, he was taken to Lilavati Hospital for surgery. Now, the actor's team has issued an official statement, confirming that the actor is 'out of danger.'

The official statement from the actor's team reads, "Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery and is out of danger. He is currently in recovery, and the doctors are monitoring his progress. All family members are safe, and the police are investigating the incident. We would like to thank Dr. Niraj Uttamani, Dr. Nitin Dange, Dr. Leena Jain, and the team at Lilavati Hospital. We also thank all his fans and well-wishers for their prayers and thoughts during this time."

According to Dr. Niraj Uttamani, the actor suffered six stab wounds, two of which were deep, and one was near the spine. Saif's children, Ibrahim and Sara Ali Khan, have now arrived at the hospital to meet their father.
For the unversed, Saif Ali Khan was rushed to Lilavati Hospital at 3 am on Thursday. Dr. Niraj Uttamani, the Chief Operating Officer of the hospital, confirmed that the actor was undergoing surgery to treat the injuries. The surgery is being carried out by a team of specialists, including Dr. Nitin Dange, a consultant neurosurgeon, Dr. Leena Jain, a consultant plastic surgeon, Dr. Nisha Gandhi, an anaesthesiologist, Dr. Kavita Srinivas, an intensivist, and Dr. Manoj Deshmukh, a consultant radiologist. The full extent of the damage will be clearer once the surgery is completed.
Following the attack, Ashoke Pandit, president of the Indian Film and Television Directors Association (IFTDA), expressed concern over the security breach, condemning the incident. He questioned how the intruder managed to access the 12th floor of the building and enter the actor’s home.
On the work front, Saif Ali Khan was last seen in the high-octane action thriller Devara Part 1, which was released in September 2024. The film also featured Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles.
