The Buckingham Murders Box Office Collection Day 5: Director Hansal Mehta's latest project The Buckingham Murders is struggling to stay put at the box office over the week days. After a below average performance on its first Monday, it witnessed a further dip on Tuesday. The whodunnit starring Kareena Kapoor Khan in the main lead, received mixed to positive reviews upon its release on September 13.
After opening at Rs 1.62 crore, and seeing a surge on Saturday and Sunday to Rs 1.90 crore and Rs 2.15 crore respectively, it fell to Rs 0.8 crore on Monday. It amassed barely Rs 0.75 crore on its Day 5.

About The Buckingham Murders

The crime-thriller drama follows the story of Jasmeet Bhamra, played by Kareena, a detective who has lost her only son. To move on from the memories of her child, she relocates to a new town. But little does she know that she would be handed over the case of an absconding boy, who has either died or is missing. As she navigates through the case, she fights not just the societal elements and obstructions, but even an emotional turmoil.
Also starring Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen, The Buckingham Murders has been written by Aseem Arrora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker. It marks a collaboration between Mahana Films and TBM Films. The movie has been Presented by Balaji Telefilms and produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor.
