Summertime is the best time to explore your creativity, especially if you are a kid.
Cheryl Rego of the Varley Gallery in Markham approached me recently to design & illustrate a sketchbook for their summer art camps. Each child enrolled receives their very own book to record their thoughts, ideas and creativity... all in one fun place!

Earthday Canada Poster Earns a Win in Applied Arts Magazine
Applied Arts Magazine has selected artwork I created for Earthday Canada to appear in it's 2011 Illustration & Photography annual.

Tracy Walker Illustrates Year of the Rabbit Stamp for Canada Post
Canada Post has just released the latest in it's Lunar New Year series of stamps. I am honoured to have had the opportunity to work with both Canada Post, and HM&E Design who designed this year's stamp.
Embellished with embossed foil stamping, the rabbit hops from stamp to stamp. The use of gold references "metal" as the element of this Year of the Rabbit.
I was also commissioned to create a second illustration, which was then translated into a beautiful embroidered piece of art, and photographed as imagery for the international stamp.
2011 is the Year of the Rabbit. It begins February 3, 2011, and promises to be a peaceful year.
