About the route

Route O operates between Fruitvale BART and San Francisco via Alameda. It travels over the Bay Bridge and is one of three AC Transit transbay routes providing service 7 days a week. While it charges a transbay fare, trips within the East Bay are allowed with a local fare. If boarding a SF bound bus with Clipper for a local trip, inform the driver so the proper fare is charged.

The O route dates back to before the formation of AC Transit when it was a Key System motor bus route.
