A lot cheaper booking it on Traveloka vs direct. Our tour came with a van pickup from Iloilo City where the operator will offer to you once your reservation has been confirmed. We completed all 6 islands and the unlimited lunch was so filling! You don't need to pay any additional fees (aside from the van pickup) because everything is included already. I have recommended this to my friends already and will continue to do so. :)

The port to Gigantes Islands is about 3 hours by car from Iloilo City. If you are staying there, you have to get up in the middle of the night to go on this tour but it is worth it! I recommend scheduling a hotel pickup with the operator.

The tour coordinators are kind & accommodating. They will communicate with you the night before the tour and they will message you with everything you need to know about the tour. I strongly suggest that you take advantage of the transportation service that they will offer if you are doing a day-tour and coming from Iloilo. It is more convenient as they will pick you up and drop you off on your hotel. The tour guides are great photographers too so prepare your OOTD if you love to take photos!

Gigantes Island Tour FAQs:

This paradise is only a few hours away from you and here are the ways how you can go there to unwind:

Via Roxas City

  • Travel by plane from Metro Manila to Roxas City, Capiz.
  • Take a tricycle going to Roxas City Integrated Transport Terminal.
  • Ride a Ceres bus going to Carles and alight in Balasan. You can also ride a van bound for Carles and alight at Balasan.
  • From Balasan, take a tricycle or habal-habal to the Bancal Port in Carles.
  • From Bancal Port, take a boat to Gigantes Norte. Passenger boats run once a day which departs at 10 AM. There are no commuter boats that carry passengers between the islands of Gigantes, so it's more convenient to hire a private boat from Bancal Port to take you on your preferred schedule.

April to June are the best months to visit the Gigantes Island because it’s the driest season in the Philippines. The weather will be mostly sunny that’s perfect for whatever beach activity you’ll be planning. Don’t forget to bring your sunblock, so as not to damage your skin from too much sunbathing!

Here at Traveloka Xperience, you can get a Join-In-Trip for as low as P999! This is inclusive of meals, transportation fare for the private boat, entrance fee, environmental fees, island fees, boat captain, travel insurance (for the private boat charter only), and a local tour guide.

Here is the day tour itinerary of Gigantes Island:

  1. The meet up will be at the Bancal Port Carles (office of the Gigantes Travel and Tours)
