Awful. God help you if you need to query invoices. Their accounts are compltetely disorganised. We are continually being billed incorrectly. Account put on stop, with no notification, even though we have advised of disputes

South Africa, Battled to get invoices for two days, shipment was delayed by incompetence of the staff, additional charges incurred. Management of no assistance, don't answer the phones and emails. Received invoices at about 09H30 and paid, payment validation takes one whole day. AT 16H00 still no release. Every shipment on Cma Cgm is a problem. Advised all clients not to use this shipping line.

WORST EVER. BAD COVERAGE . TERRIBLE SERVICES. Liner should be 24/7 online, supposed to be reliable for forwarding but we end up suffering trying to reach them , if only i could swear here, that'll be great .

My booking last minute when want to entering port gate, Booking WAS NOT FOUND. A day before that, everything was on hand and planned successfully, but suddenly, container was not allowed to enter port as Booking Confirmation was invalid. WWTH?? then how did we managed to bring out container from depot ? and update port system??

Very lousy CS response from CMA, each reply on the same issue opens a new ticket with them instead of compiled. Have to wait almost a whole day to get couple of responses. Each reply showed no interest in resolving the issue or provide options. Other carriers are more flexible in terms of reinstating booking cancellations.

The real pirates of the oceans. Avoid at all cost. Their only intention is to get their hands on your shipment and then the extortion starts.

my boss replace CMA to

I have told my boss to change the carrer caring our products. CMA is so bad. Bad service, slow email feedback, delay too much, ..... What problems can accurred that CMA has!

CMA CGM BAD SERVICE

I have Thousands of shipments with CMA CGM on monthly and CMA CGMservice has been down to its worst so far. Their system is hard to use to begin with and the only way I am able to check release status is through their system. Now CMA CGM don't even provide this info and no longer update release status to their system. When I made a complaint to the customer service, they just ignored said email. DO NOT use CMA CGM. CMA CGM is a very bad and confusing Carrier.

Avoid shipping with CMA-CGM

Avoid shipping with CMA-CGM , especially from California USA , your container will get to China , then sit idle no movement for 3 wks, you will never be informed when they change delivery Port Vessel arrive at Lekki instead of Tincan Island on BL, it took another 10 days for Barge to move container to another port for delivery. Their website container tracking is never up to date. It took 4 months from Los Angeles to Lagos Nigeria,. Nightmare experience!!!

A REAL NIGHTMARE!

A REAL NIGHTMARE!!
This can't be a real shipping company. It has to be something else. My order had ETA 20/12/2024. Now it's 10/1/2025 and still not received. Every port they increase extra 3 days. I am almost losing my customers because of them.
PLEASE BOYCOT THIS NIGHTMARE!!

DO NOT RECOMMEND

After trying to make a booking for 9 months on a portal that does not work we received a rejection notice suggesting the booking party was wrong
We received 3 emails in Chinese that made no sense about this and no response when we asked why.
A job at CMA must be the absolute best. Get paid to do nothing at all
To top it off we then get a no show and cancelled booking
We will never ever use CMA even if time and price are competitive

Awful service

Awful service, they have delayed empty container return on purpose to collect 3 days demurrage. Our truck was blocked at return gate without any reason whatsoever, they say "compliance problems". Empty container was cleaned and ready to return, "compliance"??

Been awaiting shipping container with…

Been awaiting shipping container with our household goods, was supposed to arrive end of August and has been delayed every week by 2 weeks, then a day at every port stop. Disgraceful service, can't use the excuse of shipping delays due to the war as they haven't even left the Aegean. Would not recommend to anyone.

Shippment delay for more than 30 days

My shipment from China has been delayed by more than 30 days. The expected arrival date was May 27th, but it has been changed to June 28th. I have asked their customer service for an explanation, but all they say is that they are experiencing delays. Their service is awfull!

I have been working with CMA for 25…

I have been working with CMA for 25 years because of a relationship with our customer. They used to be more customer oriented and helpful way back when. However, now they have outsourced and changed departments so many times, all their customers are just a number. They are not customer oriented, are uncooperative, not helpful in any capacity, throw everything back to the customer, hard to work with, and appear to only care about making large amount of profit. They are not the steamship line that cares about their clients, unless you are one of the top grossing customers. In addition, their website is horrendous. It used to be much better , but now nothing works correctly. Most of our NVOs agree they are awful and difficult to work with, and I highly recommend to use another carrier.

The worst company I have had to deal with
Invoicing complete mess, no-one gets back to you.
You get invoices for container deliveries that you have not placed. Invoicing in wrong currency.
Customer service zero.
Do not use!

CMA-CGM lied and stole from us

CMA-CGM lied to us, made us pay extra money otherwise our container would not have been released, are a mess and can't find information in the emails we sent in the past, damaged our container and we had to pay extra for the truck receiving the container as the driver came 2h late without notice. A total mess and nightmare. Also, we complained for 2 months and they were not able to attend us during weeks and at the end they refused to refund us the ridiculous amount of 30€ that was 1 of our cases and the most obvious clear mistake on their part.
