Tried to use liquid flex seal above my windshield to stop leaking rubber seal, what a disaster, used painting tape above and below the area. Product is so thin and runny, it ran down over the 2 inch tape and about 10 inches onto my windshield, never again!! What a pain trying to get it off my windshield..

I bought a can of Flex Seal spray on. I needed it for a gutter running over my Lanai that was installed and only butted up against the 2 ends. Every time it rains it has a steady flow of water running onto my Lanai. I applies 3 different spray applications and only slowed it to a steady drip. I have no confidence in it ever working. I wouldn't buy any of their products, good advertising just on positive results.

Product half cured when I opened one of two containers. I reached out to them over a dozen times via their website, email, and phone and they have not responded to my requests for info on shelf life and date codes...who know if this crap works in application because it's cured before I get the chance. Big dollars for something you can't use and has no support.

This product is a fraud doesn't work

This product is a fraud doesn't work. Had a hole in my pool. From the outside tried to cover it while it was leaking. Stickiness went away as soon as water hit the tape. This product sucks.DO NOT FALL FOR IT.

Really! Don't waste your money.

After two years I think it's time to write a review, needed to seal up a couple of skylights in my shop because of leaking, summer of 2022 thought I would try flex seal liquid, gave it 3 coats, 3 months later... leaking, gave it 3 more coats, 4 months later leaking again! Last summer went up and 4 coats, well guess what... leaking again! It's probably been coated 12 times, I've got $400.00 invested in something that doesn't work and never will! Sure it works on the bottom of a boat as long as you put 5 coats on it and keep it in the water so the sun can't get to it! I would like to know how many times Phil built his boat before it actually floated! Too bad you lost a customer.

Not worth the money

I paid over $30 for waterproof flex seal tape to patch the waterside bounce house and it would stick to everything but what I needed it to.

Liquid Flex Seal and Flex Tape… WORTHLESS

Bought Liquid Flex Seal and Flex Tape to have on hand for plumbing emergencies. Discovered a leak in a water line, no problem I have Flex Seal... Applied the Flex Seal tape to a clean and dry surface first, (start with the basic), didn't seal anything, just redirected the water to the end of the the tape. Removed tape, dried area again and applied Liquid Flex Seal, allowed to sit over night. Turned water back on and AGAIN it just redirected the water to where the seal ended. May as well have been craft glue or scotch tape - WORTHLESS.

Now I have a can of liquid flex seal and a roll of flex tape but no longer trust it to have for emergency repairs.

The commericals look great, too bad they are fake.

Big waste of money, BIG waste.

We had three projects we used Flexseal on:
1. to patch small holes in a dog pool.
2. to patch a leak under our hot tub.
3. to patch a spot on the roof.
Flexseal did NOT work one iota for any of these projects! Didn't even slow the leaks down. We used the tape and the spray. It didn't matter. I wish I could get my money back!

Tried TWICE! Both times product had never been opened but was hard as a rock. Expensive stuff was worthless. Shameful - FlexCrap and Lowe’s in Germantown Tn

I use flex seal as instructed

I use flex seal as instructed. Clean dry surface. Application time between coats. Proper cure time. I used flex seal on my filter basket in my hot tub. Waited a week to make sure it was cured completely. Have you used my hot tub a week now and the flex seal has turned into a soft liquid garbage! My hot tub did not leak at first but now it does again! Thank you Phil Swift! You didn't make a boat out of the damn stuff and leave it in the dark for overnight. Very misleading! Phil

Didn't know you can't paint over this until after I applied to cracks on my outside stucco walls. Had to use a rotary steel brush to remove it's so I could paint. Wasted money and not for use in areas that you have to paint over it

Well just bought a gallon $111.00 of liquid Flex seal to seal my cellar cinder block wall. It sucks as most of what I used ended up on my floor. Now I can't paint over it with concrete water proof paint. Thanks Flex seal.

Flex seal is not easy to apply and dries out once opened

Flex seal is not easy to apply. I bought the small tub container. After use I sealed it up as instructions started. It dried out and was hard as a rock when I went to use again. The ads are extremely false about this produce. For the price you would think it would last longer than one use before drying out and become rock hard and useless. I feel ripped off to say the least.

Don’t buy

The product does not perform as advertised. I used it to seal a plastic trash can lid and within a month it failed and did not retain its integrity

Flex paste

Flex paste has worked great for me but the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. Though it’s “sealed” in a tube, most tubs do not seal out the air. One I purchased had over an 1” of product that was hard as a rock. I think all the tubs should be shrink wrapped, would be worth the extra cost just to get complete product as advertised.
