Terrible Customer Service and products…

Terrible Customer Service and products are way overpriced. You will find the same products much cheaper at Amazon and Staples. Tried to order some storage boxes and the CSR was rude to me and told me to order online. I did end up ordering online with a competitor.

If I could give zero stars

If I could give zero stars, I would! This place is a joke. I have a small business and I received a catalog from Uline. The catalog was issued to my company, complete with a customer number. I looked and found a few things that I was interested in, so I ordered them. The delivery charge seemed kinda high, but placed the order anyway. I selected the "net 30" terms, and was under the impression that the order was being processed. The following day, I received an email stating that the order was on hold and for me to reach out to the credit department because they need more information. When I called, I was told that I need to purchase 6 months of prepaid invoices to qualify for a net 30 account. I was then told that my business didn't have tradelines according to Dunns & Bradstreet. I asked for a copy of the denial and they haven't presented me with anything. I wasn't aware that my business was undergoing a background check and the representative said that the check is done internally and they are not required to get consent from the business owner. I am currently challenging this practice, as it's new to me. The website isn't clear and the representatives couldn't make their practice make any sense. My purchase was $200 and I was treated like I'm not worthy. This was disheartening...I also noticed a poll when I was looking at some of the other reviews on Glassdoor, and I noticed that there's poll tracking race, gender and sexual orientation through Uline. I'm not sure what that's all about, but Uline definitely made me feel like I was discriminated against. This place needs to be boycotted and investigated! I see why the reviews are so poor... This is supposed to be a family owned business and I'm just not sure what principles Uline stand for. On the website, under "about us" it says, Depend on Uline to build your business-we won't let you down. I'm here to testify that they will not help the small people... That is not a true statement on their website. There are other companies offering the same products for a better price and cheaper shipping. Uline should really extend credit to small businesses and just give them a small line of credit, to help them become more established. In return, these smaller companies will help sustain Uline presence in the market place. I'm almost certain that Uline is on a downward slide. Reach out to me and let me help you understand what the public need. It's hard to see when you have billions of dollars, you tend to forget about the small people

How can you always be hiring but decline everyone who applies is this even a real place?
How does everyone have the same experience of getting denied on applications?
I applied for this job while still active duty in the military I had a logistics job running a motor pool and working endlessly in a warehouse Uline is a logistics company I’m currently applying to my 10th position I know I’m not the most qualified person but the most recent position I applied for was warehouse associate overnight. To just get declined without an interview doesn’t make sense as it shows you guys are always hiring.

ULine does not know anything about the products they are selling

The Uline customer service could not tell me what type of screw cap adapter to purchase in order to close the containers I purchased from them so I cannot use these containers that I purchased since they will not be in compliance with the DOT closure instructions. ULine's competitors do sell screw cap adapters for torque wrenches and they even specify what containers they sell that it is compatible with. It was a mistake buying these from ULine and ULine will not let me return them. Additonally, I asked ULine who was the manufacturer so I could ask them instead, and ULine told me they cannot tell me who the manufacturer was, that was against their company policy to let me know, so you are on your own! Buyer Beware!!!

Defective product and bad customer…

Defective product and bad customer service. Due to an obvious design flaw (now resolved on other models), the only way to "fix" a loose handle on our lightly used (second home) U-Line wine cooler is to pay $778 for a new door. The U-Line customer service rep said he would look into getting "help" for me from the company. He quit responding to my inquiries for a status report.

They keep sending me the wrongs parts

I keep getting the wrong parts for my safe. First time it was fine, mistakes happen I get it but this happened the second time and I don't know what else to do other than complain. People on the phone are nice but whoever is packing my hardware needs to either not rely on AI or whatever computer is telling them to use or look at the labels real carefully and see my safe does not work with the parts they keep on sending me.

The worse company ever

The worse company ever. Was sent the wrong shipment 5 times. Told them I wanted a refund. I still have not received a refund nor the correct shipment. Typical Uline Incompetence!

Bad return policy if you’re using their label, because if you use their return label, it’s much as the product I ordered

Using unline return label is just as much as the product I returned a complete rip off, you’re better off returning it on your own. Not good business practice. I may not be using them again.

Best customer service we got all day…

Best customer service we got all day from going to 15 other businesses! Rachelle served us at the front desk when we got there to pick up 2 separate orders… she had a smile on, was courteous and very helpful but also NEW HER STUFF!!! Finally we go somewhere where an employee knows what they r doing! We had big orders she brought us to a farther away loading dock so we wouldn’t be in the way for others trying to get our car loaded up… tried to tip her for the great service… she refused … just wanna say … THANK YOU RACHELLE !!! You rock !!!

Exceptional Customer service

The customer service was unlike any I've experienced before. I called for a quote and gave my first name. Within seconds they knew my full name, company, coworkers who also order from them and after spending less than a minute confirming the information was still accurate I was given a verbal quote and the emailed quote hit my inbox by the time I was able to hang up the phone. So friendly and efficient. Delivery was a day given it was in stock.

I'm done with this company!

I'm done with this company! This companies shipping fees are highway robbery through the roof! That HUGE catalog sent every single month is so annoying. No one uses it in these days and times! Hey Uline, come out of the time capsule, we place orders online! They DO NOT offer rewards program and they DON'T deliver free. They claim they only offer Net 30 accounts for businesses but this is absurd and so not true. They don't appreciate their loyal customers business and trust me it shows!

Bought a Uline beverage fridge for over…

Bought a Uline beverage fridge for over $3000 for a customer. After just over a year it failed. Needs $980 in repairs. Uline did not honor its two year warranty over a technicality that says it needs to be registered within 60 days from delivery. Customer service was slow and I feel lacks integrity. Beware.

Uline is a standout!

Uline is a standout! Whenever I call Uline a professional polite human answers my call on the first ring! They never hand me an endless menu of buttons to press to find a human. In today’s world how often does this kind of great service happen? I love doing business with a company who puts me first! I just hope they will always keep this kind of service going - thank you!

Horrible Customer Service

Ordered a number of Art Boxes that would ship the following day. Was told the delivery person had to have a freight elevator to bring the delivery to my condo. My elevator is not one, but is load-tested to 2,500 lbs. Uline couldn’t guarantee that the driver could simply bring the shipment to the elevator & let me take it from there. So if it was raining, they’d leave it out in the parking lot to get soaked. Since I’m alone, that is BS, so I cancelled the order. Then they had the nerve to still charge me $150 to ship my order back to its original location. This total lack of attention to serving their potential customer(s) is pathetic.

ULINE CHARGES $25 FOR PICK-UP

Uline may seem reasonable in pricing but they grossly over charge for shipping and delivery. They even charge $25 if you want to pick something up. It seems they stopped pick-up during Covid and now cheat the customers with unreasonable shipping and pick-up charges. Their customer service doesn’t seem to care. I try to avoid them whenever possible.

Their ads are everywhere, but their product and customer service is horrible

They advertise everywhere, yet provide the worst customer experience ever. I was so excited that they could ship our shippers much faster than Amazon. Would you believe that 80% of the box mailers were cut so that they wouldn’t close? What a waste. To make matters worse, instead of shipping me replacements immediately, they required the mailers to return to their warehouse before they would consider replacement or refund. - they could spend less on ads and more on hiring a consultant to let them know that people have choices..why would we choose uline?

Our postal workers have enough to do these days without delivering unwanted catalogs 3 or 4 times a year.
Like other reviewers. Get me off your mailing list!!

Discrimination

Honestly from what I have seen and experienced from uline hiring staff is nothing but discrimination. They have a quota of how many Latinos to hire and if you have tattotforget about everything working there. I had an interview and literally knew more than my interviewer but was not hired. Why is that ? Because of my tattoos because I’m Mexican?if you ever go to uline warehouse look around you can count the number of Latinos with 1 hand
