Out of stock, payment taken and no contact
Recenty order an electric kettle, steam mop and starter logs. Delivery arrives and it’s only the starter logs. I had no communication from Woodies to say there is any issue or delay with my order. I gave it 2 more days in case part of the order was delayed, no issue with that. Finally no sign of the rest of my order and I email them to be told “ Unfortunately the two items you are missing are out of stock and they should of been refunded before the 15 Starterlogs where sent out to you, I will process a refund now for the two missing items.” I placed my orders on the night of the 6th Dec, got confirmation from Woodies that is was received on the 7th, updated on the 12th to say it was shipped with a courier and confirmed delivery on the 13th. One third of my order!!! Despite my order being accepted which I’m still angry about, no one from Woodies contacted me to say items were out of stock or that I was due a refund.
The emails I received back from their “Customer Service” after I contacted them yesterday was just unacceptable “ Again we are very sorry about the disappointment caused the refund has been processed back into your account.
Our Home Delivery Team is looking into this stock level issue as your items should have been showing out of stock, we will make sure our website gets updated so this issue does not happen again.”. That is just not good enough from a company of that size to just fob off their customer.
I’d give a zero star if I had the option. Unacceptable Woodies!!!
