Carlos and Lando, from the moment they meet pre-season, become fast friends. There's a connection between them that instantly forms with Carlos seeing Lando as the annoying little brother he never got, and Lando looks up to Carlos like he does to his actual older brother.
With being away from his family pack, leaving the F2 pack, and being integrated into the new F1 pack, Lando is a little overwhelmed and anxious but Carlos is right there to guide the omega and help hom adjust to being in F1.
While others see their constant touching as possibly leading to something more, the bond between them is purely platonic....but when Daniel joins McLaren and Lando acts as if he's just lost a mate, rumours begin to fly that maybe the pair were romantic after all and that Lando isn't adjusting to having another alpha replacing his.
Daniel, who hoped to have at least a friendly relationship with Lando, is thrown in the deep end and when Lando does open up to him, he's hit with the fact that he wants to be more than friends with the young omega who's heart seems to belong to another....
