I know it’s definitely on the not so morally correct side of things, but low-key Derek and an 18yr old Stiles by s4-5 could’ve possibly been interesting. I mean, Smallville did it with that depraved Lex and Lana ship. Plus I feel like Derek would surprisingly be a big softie once he and Stiles finally got to together. Maybe somewhat toxic but for reasons such as…he’s incredibly traumatized and seem shit - which of course, so has Stiles.

Stiles and Derek bump into Jarred, a former classmate of Stiles', and it's clear to everyone around them that there's no way that that Stiles Stilinski managed to score this hottie as a boyfriend. Stiles takes offense, of course, but he opts to kill them with passive aggressiveness. It was simple at first, leaning closer, excessive hand holding, random kisses on the scruffy cheeks... All the while, Jarred gets more and more uncomfortable.
Derek, poor, whipped, Derek, goes along with all of it. Fool in love.
Stiles, of course, doesn't miss the chance to escalate even further. When it's finally time to part ways, he hops on Derek's free arm because just walking away with his hand on the boyfriend's back pocket is too subtle. So this is how he screams to the whole market to see.

Stiles squinted as he looked into the sky, snowflakes falling around him. It was the chillest night of the year, but not quite yet Christmas in Beacon Hills. He stuck his tongue out and tried to catch snowflakes, even though he logically knew that they were likely full of pollution. He could never really shut down that part of his brain, so it nagged him in the back of his mind as he failed to catch snowflakes anyway. He heard a chuckle behind him and it sent warmth radiating through his body, from head to toe.
