It near-universally panned by critics as "slow", "pretentions", "too serious" and, get this, "not funny enough". You people were complaining about Marvel movies being too "formulaic" and "jokey" but when Marvel makes a sweeping epic it's "too different". Even when made by a by an incredibly diverse team, it was panned even harder by fellow leftist-progressive critics as "not "radical" enough" and "not doing enough for representation" which, once again, we leftists ALWAYS tend hold to diverse media made by and/or starring women and minorities to way more harsher standards then non-diverse media that has little to no (or even worse) representation.

And as a leftist, I keep on asking: Why? Why do we keep on doing this?
