hiii thank you for the ask :D hope youre well !!!

“rin 10,” is what i’ve affectionately nicknamed my attempt to write my angstiest fic ever, as in it scores a 10 on the rin angst scale. tbh i’ve been working on it since october, and i’ve been with it for so long that i’ve lost all personal concept of how angsty it really is.

it’s a canon divergent post-canon fic where yuuji dies in shinjuku, and megumi suffers from short-term amnesia as a result of gojo’s domain. it alternates between nobara’s pov where she tries to balance processing her own grief and supporting megumi, and megumi’s pov where he repeatedly forgets that yuuji is dead as his brain heals :3

someday i will finish it…..in the meantime. snippet :D

“drinking sangria & throwing oranges” is my valentines wip turned yuuji bday wip turned ??? hopefully i finish it sometime ever wip 😭 i’m super fond of the concept but it’s been taking me such a long time to write omg

it was Very Loosely inspired by the poem “I Had a Dream About You,” by richard siken, one of my fav poems recently. in particular this collection of lines reminds me of itafushi

the poem talks about wanting to be close to someone but the situation is never quite right, and in the fic, megumi can’t allow himself to be with yuuji because “the situation isn’t right.” it’s post-canon, and they’re both secretly holding onto a lot of grief and guilt from shinjuku, so the fic is about how they work through that to be together.

since it’s inspired by a poem, i’m really working on my prose with this one, hence why it’s taking a long time. hopefully i’ll finish it this year lmaoo

hey guys did we actually cancel cringe culture or did we just replace it with the slightly more elaborate ritual of ascribing objective moral value to works of fiction and making sure anyone who likes something Bad knows they should be ashamed of it
