DORIS is a software developed to facilitate the automated selection of the underlying cause of death. This tool examines the information provided on the death certificates and assists in selecting the underlying cause of death following the International Classification of Diseases (ICD) mortality rules that have been fully digitalized.
DORIS, an integral component of the ICD-11 suite of tools, is freely accessible and specifically designed to enhance mortality reporting.
