Overview
The Disease Control in Humanitarian Emergencies (DCE) team within the department of Global Alertand Response at WHO headquarters is conducting a project aimed at strengthening disease surveillance in the immediate aftermath of acute emergencies, through the early warning alert and response network (EWARN) mechanism.This document is a report of the proceedings of the second technical workshop, held 10–11 May 2011 at WHO headquarters in Geneva.
