Motivation

We are developing the en:Template:Podcast platform links template for English Wikipedia, which uses Wikidata similar to the authority control template to provide external links to a given podcast on different platforms. However, properties for many popular platforms do not yet exist on Wikidata yet, so we would like to add them (this proposal will be one of several).
