Motivation
[edit]Notified participants of WikiProject Authority control
An important codelist of subject schemes and identifier types used in the ONIX standard in the Publishing industry.
While not as rich as BARTOC ID (P2689) (doesn't include descriptive info about these schemes), it's a good list of 130 schemes that we should aim to include completely in Wikidata as external-ids. Vladimir Alexiev (talk) 16:02, 12 September 2023 (UTC)

[edit]- Comment Example links: "Whoops! That page could not be found." --Kolja21 (talk) 22:29, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
- Support I replaced the example links with the ones for the formatter URL in the template, these seem to work. ArthurPSmith (talk) 19:32, 14 September 2023 (UTC)
- Question Would it make sense to generalize this property to include other lists as well (e.g. https://ns.editeur.org/onix/en/44 seems useful)? --1-Byte (talk) 14:53, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
- @Vladimir Alexiev:, could you please answer the questions. Regards, ZI Jony (Talk) 11:18, 20 January 2024 (UTC)
- yes! are there other useful lists?
- Could you or @1-Byte: edit the proposal accordingly? Thanks! Vladimir Alexiev (talk) 23:37, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
