Motivation
[edit]Unsplash is a popular repository of non-free images (but with many rights granted to anyone wanting to use images). Numerous organisations/brands maintain an official presence on Unsplash for purposes including publishing brand and product marketing photos. Numerous notable individuals will also have Unsplash accounts which can be linked to the Wikidata item for the individual. Dhx1 (talk) 14:21, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
Discussion
[edit]- Comment I have not heard of them but they seem to distribute the photos under a somewhat unclear licence: https://unsplash.com/license (see also discussion on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unsplash#License_controversies it used to be CC0 and now its something strange). --Hannes Röst (talk) 21:24, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
