- Comment Few things, all of your values are images so the property name should be "recycling code image". However I think it might be useful for the property to represent a number, and to call it "resin identification codes and codes defined by the European Commission" (Wikipedia) and then in addition use qualifer image (P18) for the symbol image. Another question, is there already a property which links products (plastic bags, or other specific items) to a recycling code? Germartin1 (talk) 08:53, 14 October 2018 (UTC)
- Good point. I modified this. --Thibdx (talk) 22:58, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
- Looks good now Support, however datatype should be an integer (quantity or External identifier, I'm not sure), what about Glass, which has has 10 Codes, maybe it will good to create a few new items for "Green Glass", "Clear Glass", etc. as well as for composites "Paper + plastic", "Plastics/Aluminium", etc. (Wikipedia) Germartin1 (talk) 10:39, 16 October 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks. I guess it is "External Identifier" since it may have letters or symboles. Yes "Glass" is not a material but a wide familly of materials. We need to have more precise material items. --Thibdx (talk) 13:08, 16 October 2018 (UTC)
- If the property is for use with codes of different schemes, I'd expect it to be "string" not "external identifier". If it's just for one scheme, "external identifier" would be fine. --- Jura 15:34, 17 October 2018 (UTC)
- Ok, I understand why. There is different national schemes so that I modified it. --Thibdx (talk) 20:18, 17 October 2018 (UTC)

- Comment Isn't there a further relation between "recycle code" and the authority providing it ? Because I am wondering if we truly have a universal global standard now for "recycle code" or if it needs to be given context with qualifier or an authority ? Is the authority always ASTM in every country, always ? Thadguidry (talk) 15:33, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
- Good point. Europe, China and Japan codes are different. I added the qualifier standards body (P1462). --Thibdx (talk) 22:58, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
