Are Maltese people Semitic?

- Not true at all, please prove such a dubious theory. The first people to land on Malta were ancient Sicilians; specifically the tribe of European people thought to have originally come to Sicily themselves from the Iberian Peninsula, perhaps Catalonia. - Butrosss (talk) 06:58, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
- It is a well known and commonly referenced fact that the first settlers on Malta were from Sicily. The phonecian influx occured afterwards. 84.13.31.185 (talk) 20:59, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

Migration
[edit]Xwejnusgozo, according to the National Statistics Office of Malta, as of 2014, there are actually only a few hundred transient migrants from various African and Asian nations in Malta. Many also already left the country [1]. Soupforone (talk) 18:02, 30 November 2017 (UTC)
