Propose new article to deal with federal action
[edit]I have proposed elsewhere that the article Federal takeover of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac be created as I take it this developing story will warrant its own article. I am unable to start this work presently, so maybe somebody else can start writing this? __meco (talk) 22:54, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
- Good idea. Done! N2e (talk) 23:55, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
What is the controversy?
[edit]This edit is weird. The added text---which asserts the existance of a controversy---just seems to be one editor's opinion, reacting to an FHFA program as described in the reference. The edit looks to me like soapboxing.
- The edit describes a controversy that I find no evidence for. It uses a reference that does not support the claim.
- I reverted the edit, with a description of why, but Clarksmom (talk | contribs) reverted it back with NO explanation.
Interestingly, there are genuine controversies over FHFA proposals nowadays. I'd be happy to summarize the reference. I'd also be happy to work with somebody to describe the genuine controversies---as reported by reliable sources. But I think the current text is wrong and shouldn't stand uncorrected. - try reading the comments under the news article, silly. obviously there is controversy. Clarksmom (talk) 01:08, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
- The source doesn't support the material you added. Don't reinsert it.--Bbb23 (talk) 01:20, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
