Solomon Juneau
[edit]Obviously Juneau was not the first person or even the first white person to come to Milwaukee. The native americans were the first people to come to the Milwaukee area. In the Pre-1800 section, it outlines the Europeans who first came to the city. Juneau was the first to found the settlement of Milwaukee but a claim cannot be made that he was the first to come to Milwaukee. Perhaps a claim could be made that he was the first "founding father" to come to Milwaukee but that needs to be specifically stated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by PaulRaunette (talk • contribs) 17:00, 20 February 2010 (UTC)
