Death in lead
[edit]MOS:LEADBIO says "Unless the cause of death is itself a reason for notability, a single sentence describing the death is usually sufficient, and often none is included in the lead at all, just a death date". I put one sentence with a source. I see literally nothing wrong in including one line on the source of death. 26-year-old wealthy Americans do not normally die, and I'm sure that a reader unfamiliar with the subject would want to know why he died at such a young age - we're not describing a 99-year-old dying of natural causes. - Not in the lead. Isn't that clear? none is included in the lead at all I've removed it there 3 times now and will do so againb in a minute. --SergeWoodzing (talk) 20:54, 21 January 2019 (UTC)
- It is entirely acceptable to include the death in the lead; that is exactly what MOS:LEADBIO states. The section confirms that should and should not happen in the LEAD of a BIO. The guideline (not policy) is flexible, and the information is entirely acceptable to anyone who reads it. - SchroCat (talk) 12:18, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
- It's RfC time to get the guideline clarified & worded clearly. Coming soon. --SergeWoodzing (talk) 13:27, 21 February 2020 (UTC)

Add Lars under Mac's aliases. Lars is from Mac Miller's secret Instagram account where he did vape tricks. The Instagram account is @cloudywithachanceofawesome69 2604:CA00:13B:6360:0:0:660:2574 (talk) 03:51, 19 June 2020 (UTC)

Mac started abusing Codeine not Promethazine
[edit]Promethazine is an additive in some Codeine cough syrups especially the ones sought out for recreational purposes. Lack of consistency here — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ramsy1209 (talk • contribs) 05:19, 16 January 2021 (UTC)

I think Logic should be added to associated acts as he expresses in his music that Mac HEAVILY influenced his involvement in the rap game, taught him how to record his own stuff quote on quote “with frozen pizza in a dorm room”. 2603:7080:6900:E32E:C571:3835:4A5F:B66 (talk) 13:11, 19 December 2021 (UTC)

Mac Miller's musical classification.
[edit]You have Mac Miller listed as a rapper and record producer. This is inaccurate. Not only did he Rap, but he also sang. He also wrote his own songs. He played guitar. He played piano. He wasn't just a rapper and producer. He was an artist. Please edit this article to reflect upon that. 24.111.154.74 (talk) 08:55, 31 March 2022 (UTC)

Please include the fact that Jon Brion confirmed that Swimming and Circles were supposed to be part of a trilogy. He said in 2020 "...I believe the third one would have been just a pure hip-hop record. I think he wanted to tell people, ‘I still love this, I still do this.'".
I think this would make a good addition to the section that covers Swimming and Circles.
