Jennie Carignan
[edit]- ... that Jennie Carignan helped reintroduced ballroom dancing to the Royal Military College Saint-Jean, having taken classes with her future husband when she was a cadet? They took ballroom dancing together at RMC as an extracurricular activity, although the college stopped offering it in the ’90s... She recently raised the point to her colleagues that the training shows young men how not to touch or speak to women but doesn’t offer them an alternative. Thus, this September, the Royal Military College will resume teaching ballroom dance.
