The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh is an American comedy television series created by Vijal Patel.[1] It premiered on Amazon Prime Video and Freevee on October 17, 2024.[2] The series stars Sindhu Vee, Naveen Andrews, Sahana Srinivasan, Arjun Sriram, Ashwin Sakthivel, Nicholas Hamilton, Ethan Suplee and Megan Hilty and is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television.[3]

Plot

The series focuses on the Pradeep family who has successfully moved from India to the United States to start a new experience in the country. The series is told in flashbacks from an interrogation room, which sometimes allow very different conclusions to be drawn about what happened. The family soon find themselves emboiled on a romantic, personal and professional level, with a family across the street that could be different.

Production

The eight-part series was announced on Amazon Freevee.[6] Principal photography of the series commenced in Toronto.[7] The trailer of the series was released on September 18, 2024.[8]

Reception

The review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes reported a 67% approval rating with an average rating of 5.3/10, based on 6 critic reviews.[9] Deepa Gahlot of Rediff.com awarded the series 2/5 stars.[10] Joly Herman of Common Sense Media rated the series three out of five stars.[11]
