Butseriouslyfolks is taking a Wikibreak but may pop in occasionally to wikipedia.
I try not to take my editing too seriously, and hopefully it takes us closer to the truth. Of course, as Carptrash has advised me, Oscar Wilde has pointed out that "the Truth is seldom pure and never simple."
With regard to deletionism, I am not married to the idea of deleting articles. I am equally happy if an AfD or other procedure leads to an article being sufficiently improved to be retained. As MJHankel once said, "I only am looking for this article to either be something of value or non-existent."
The biggest challenge in my Wikilife? Moderating my on-Wiki time.

The Barnstar of Diligence
For all your hard work against copyright violations and unfree images, which helps prevent Wikipedia from being in legal jeopardy.--U.S.A.U.S.A.U.S.A. 21:28, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
The Working Man's Barnstar
I can't even remember if I've given you a barnstar for this reason or not... oh well, nevermind. Okay, so, I thought I'd give you this barnstar for the tireless responses to those multiple users a little while back (I can't even remember the article anymore) who accused us of being one and the same. It was fun being your sock for a while. Thank you for being here on Wikipedia :-) ScarianTalk 18:41, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
For an impressive start, making valuable contributions to an important area of Wikipedia despite having just active for just over a month. W.marsh 18:38, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
Dear God, Deliver Me from -butseriouslyfolks- Award
Dear 8 pounds 6 ounces Baby Jesus, please deliver me from the deletionism of butseriouslyfolks. He keeps deleting things that I wrote, because I wrote them on my own website. Even though he is obviously smart enough to see that I am the same guy, he continually insists that the rule of Wiki-law is followed to the letter. I know, dear Baby Jesus, that he probably doesn't speed either, and always declares his waitering tips on his 1040EZ, but I'd appreciate it if you'd touch his heart and cause him to stop deleting my information. Amen. IsraelXKV8R 17:48, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
(seriously, you should leave this up. Other's will think it's funny - a badge of honor if you will. Besides, it's not violating any copyright rules.)
I agree to release my text and image contributions, unless otherwise stated, into the public domain. Please be aware that other contributors might not do the same, so if you want to use my contributions under public domain terms, please check the multi-licensing guide.
