From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Welcome to the real world! I am LIL' VOKA (vo-kah) (who also goes by the alter ego as B-Blazer (Beat Blazer).

Native of Dayton, Ohio, I'm been writing articles for Wikipedia for a number of years now. I have been in a mode to whearas, either the articles are getting better, or I'm looking at a gossip column on the internet. I love the real hip-hop music amd plan on becoming an inspiring writer and rapper. I have some knowledge of sports, television, politics, and of course music.

Welcome Quote To Vandals

[edit]
  • WOW, I GET VANDALIZE! ISN'T THAT GREAT!
  • But guess what: "I'm still here!"
  • And on my talk page, here's what you should do. In order to respond back with comments we use (~~~~). To all vandals, sockpuppets and disruptive editors. Please refrain from the nonsense and work to make Wikipedia great. You should be lucky it's not a membership page where we had to pay to edit articles. Think about that!

What Is New For Me

[edit]

Frankly, I have a social life now. I haven't been using Wikipedia too much now. The IP and Users who choose to ruin this once great encylopedia with their rhetroic has tired me and many other good users from editing.

Never thought I said this, but it's getting way too old. But I will proceed to continue to write for Wikipedia. It's not a matter of principle, it's a matter of doing!

Who knew that the edit war has cost many lives! (hint: the sarcasm)!

Thanks again.

Introduction

[edit]

My contributions to Wikepedia include writing pieces for The Game, Benzino, T.I., Lil' Flip, The Source, Ludacris, and many others. I been watching the battles between Eminem and Benzino as well as 50 Cent and his feuds. I wrote an article about the issues on Benzino and his influence on the publication. It's called The Source vs. Eminem: The Source Steps Up The Beef and Slim Shady Steps Up. I'll keep you posted. There is the tireless feud with The Game and 50 Cent, the rise and fall of commerical hip-hop, and the ever present rise of mainstream artists going to independent labels to succeed where major label's couldn't: See Ice Cube, Jim Jones, Little Brother, and Common.

I working on a piece called (SAID) Some Americans Instigate Distortion: The Rise and Fall of Neutral Media. Stay tuned.

Smile, I returned one day----LILVOKA. Retirement is like Jay-Z putting the mic down for a year and then returning back to the game. Or even like Master P and Michael Jordan. It's good like that!

Most Frequently Written Articles

The BeatBOX

A List of Firsts

  • The Game - I started an epidemic with this one! Since 2005, I had added information to The Game article, and established the controversy and biography section. It's cool to see all the editors contribute to a rising rap star.
  • 50 Cent - as well as the label the rapper is on. This is the most popular (and one of the most vandalized page) in the Wikipedia Hip-Hop Project. This article has expanded very well.
  • G-Unit - see above.
  • Tony Yayo - I help this article take flight! It's worth doing, right?
  • Benzino - I help this guy out. Before it became an article it was just eight lines down and all that talk about beef with the rapper listed below him.
  • Eminem - Superstar in his given right. It's a big deal when you see a star like Eminem get such a big article! It's a beautiful thing.
  • T.I. - I started this article when I was just a IP number. Now two years later, the outcome!
  • Lil' Flip - This was (I think) the first article I written since I had started Wikipedia. I looked around for Lil' Flip on Wikipedia, and could not find it. So therefore, I created it!
  • Ludacris - I still work on this article from time to time. I established the first picture on the Ludacris article.
  • Roc-A-Fella - help this article take flight.
  • Cam'Ron - Good piece, extra jibs and jabs.
  • Juelz Santana - Uh-ok, his real name is Laron James. Not LeBron James .
  • Mase - Uh, next!
  • The Source - A magazine that was just a few paragraphs now an article. Extra thanks to Bill Shannon.
  • Missing Pretty Girl Syndrome - not one to back down from current events I seen how Tamika Huston and LaToyia Figueroa were shunned for the Natalie Holloway and Jennifer Wilbanks stories. It took Eugune Robinson and Michelle Malkin to bring light to an article. I created this article when I was just an IP. Wow. I started coffee table discussion. An epidemic!
  • Bill O'Reilly - The far right need a man like him to keep pressing his own twisted views and propaganda.
  • Fox News Channel - some say they are right wing bias, but I know? I only tell you to watch and judge for yourself! Not saying that they are, but who give so much time to a conservative. I am talking a page from Bill O'Reilly "Ah, come on, you drinking on that Kool-Aid from the far left!"

Special Thanks

[edit]

Wikipedia has became one of the fastest growing Internet sites in the world. It's being an encyclpedia that everyone can edit is the what drove it to the top spot. Despite all of the shortcomings with other users, and my shortcomings with reverts, disputes with other users, I am trying my hardest to be a great Wikipedia user and I am proud to be a part of the Wikipedia family.

As a member of the hip-hop community, I have experience the most interesting articles in the past; especially since the music industry seen a downturn in it's recording sells due to file-sharing, piracy and MP3 downloads. It's a matter of principle. I thank all the users who contribute to the Wikipedia Hip-Hop Project. (Note: That those who use true facts in the articles).

It's great to write for Wikipedia. I am trying my hardest to make Wikipedia (our free encylopedia) the best. You have to thank the founders Larry Sanger and Jimmy "Jimbo" Wales for creating the world's most successful encylopedia! Without our support, Wikipedia wouldn't be here. Good editing!

RIP
