Thibbs has spent time contributing at the WikiProject Video games Reliable Sources page and currently maintains the reliable source custom search engines for WikiProject Video games. Thibbs also volunteers as a member of the WikiProject Video games Reference library and the WikiProject Anime and manga Magazine Archive. Source diversity as a means to counteract systemic bias is a central concern for Thibbs. This is reflected in Thibbs' May 2012 proposal to transclude reliability determinations for Polish-language sources, the June 2012 addition of diversity language into the WP:VG/RS guideline, and a January 2013 article for the WikiProject Video games newsletter (see below).
