Information icon Thank you for contributing to the article Sogyal Rinpoche. However, please do not use unreliable sources such as blogs, your own website, websites and publications with a poor reputation for checking the facts or with no editorial oversight, expressing views that are widely acknowledged as extremist, that are promotional in nature, or that rely heavily on rumors and personal opinions, as one of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. If you require further assistance, please look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia, or ask at the Teahouse. Thank you.

The source you are providing is not a news source: it's an opinion piece, a letter republished as a blog post with comments. It's not a reliable source per WP:UGC. Skyerise (talk) 16:41, 24 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Sogyal Rinpoche. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. You may not call other editors "weirdo" in your edit summaries. Skyerise (talk) 19:11, 24 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I've just read page 61 of the book Sex and Violence in Tibetan Buddhism - it doesn't contain any of the words 'Dudjom', 'Nyingma', or 'school'. I have to assume you are a vandal. Skyerise (talk) 19:22, 24 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Sogyal Rinpoche. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Skyerise (talk) 20:43, 24 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
