Hallo, Thanks for creating this article, but please remember not to link parts of a date: English Wikipedia doesn't. See MOS:DATE. I've fixed this article. Thanks. PamD 11:53, 31 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Sukhmahbaws, to Wikipedia. Doing so is considered vandalism and is prohibited. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. signed, Iflaq (talk) 11:08, 5 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Kind of late but I can't remember this. I think, if I am not mistaken, was a time when I was in class and I went to the toilet but I left my wiki account open and a friend of mine tried to get me banned haha. Have a nice day. Once again, kind of late but have a wonderful day. Bigeshjen (talk) 19:01, 10 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Good afternoon from Portugal,

I apologise for any misunderstandings that may have stemmed from my edits and/or edit summaries in said article (furthermore, in my first edit i was focusing solely on the wrong box - no trials there - and did not notice your great job of updating on his retirement with a source; i saw my stupid mistake immediately and reinstated your work). You were OK to revert my intro updates, as the Segunda División B and the Segunda División RFEF (where he last played) are different competitions; however, i feel adding he had a 21-year senior career did not harm the article at all. But fine, it stays this way.

Attentively, sorry for any inconvenience again and happy editing --193.137.135.2 (talk) 18:26, 19 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@193.137.135.2 It doesn't matter! i also learn from stupid mistakes! Have a wonderful day! Bigeshjen (talk) 05:04, 20 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I was refining the above article mentioned, and you seem to have reverted one of my edits, that is changing all_writing to all_music as defined. Not only did you undo my edit, you didn't even bother providing any summary and also labelled it as minor edit. Could you please tell me why'd you revert it? Please also read Template:Track listing to better understand use of each parameter used. Speak soon. Thank you!. paperpseudonym (talk) 10:58, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I was just patrolling recent changes and I saw yours. I am not a music expert but isn't making a song just called "Writing a song" as well? Even if it doesn't have any lyrics? Once again, not a music expert but yeah. Also, thank you for being this friendly. Have a nice day! Bigeshjen (talk) 11:11, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Well, you're right but i'm not sure either. But I guess all_music is better 'cause it shows all music composed by rather than written by. Also, if you use say all_writing, then it would overlap any music/lyric parameter for each track and hence the lyric parameter for that one track that contains lyrics won't show up. And for that you'll need to use note to mention the lyrics. Why go through all that hassle, right? Anyway, we learn something new everyday, also, I apologize if I was a bit passive aggressive in my text before, you see, I was really spending my time fixing it and then I saw you reverting it without any summary so. But again, thank you for helping improving the article. Have a really good day & stay safe! :) paperpseudonym (talk) 14:15, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
EDIT: Hi there again, I just did a bit more digging and it would seem my above statement is partially incorrect, I just tested it in preview mode. So, basically, say there's a soundtrack album with no lyrics, it's wise to stick to all_music parameter instead, 'cause yeah writing and composing is the same but by music, you're more eh specific. Again, it's all the same. I'm just trying to improve the articles and i mostly arrange the source code so other editors can easily edit, if you find anything on this topic, please do drop a message on my talk page, I'm not very expert in this field either. Have a good day! paperpseudonym (talk) 14:26, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Siege of Namur

[edit]

Hello, this is Crecy1346. Thank you for looking at my Article. I just wanted to know if there is still anything to translate from French, since you put the template for it there. I did check whether I had missed anything and couldnt see anything so could you please let me know. Also, if a article is merely translated, by my knowledge it doesnt need a template to let the user know that it is translated however i may be wrong

Thanks Crecy1346 (talk) 12:28, 12 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! No problem! I personally don't know a lot about translation so I can't help you with that :/ You could ask the Discord server or search it up! Have a nice day! Bigeshjen (talk) 19:49, 12 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Either explain your restorations of edits made by sockpuppets because that comes under WP:BE.

Hold up I am reverting edits on the same page but I think that I accidentally reverted the good edits. Please revert my edits if I accidentally revert the wrong one. Bigeshjen (talk) 10:10, 13 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there again, I have solved it: I thought you were vandalising the page so I reverted it but turns out you aren't reverting it. I am sorry. Bigeshjen (talk) 10:13, 13 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Mistake, I said turns out you aren't reverting it but I meant turns out you aren't VANDALISING it. I am so sorry for this event. Bigeshjen (talk) 10:14, 13 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Tagging pages for speedy deletion

[edit]

Hello, Bigeshjen,

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I really appreciate you notifying page creators of your tagging through Twinkle, that's a very important step.

I wanted to advise you that it is not considered best practice to tag for deletion a page creation within minutes of its creation unless there are severe problems like vandalism, copyright violations or content that violates BLP guidelines. If it is just an ordinary draft or article that has problems, please leave at least 15 minutes or an hour for the page creator to improve the content. Tagging pages for deletion immediately after they have been created really discourages new editors and we rely on new editors improving their skills and becoming better editors! Also, we allow more room in Draft space for articles that have problems because this is an area where our regular readers don't see. So, it is much more important to remove, say, promotional content from an article in main space than in Draft space.

If you would like to learn more about the ins and outs of patrolling new pages, I encourage you to look over Wikipedia:New pages patrol. It contains quite a lot of information that you don't need to learn today but it is the guidelines that are official new page patrollers work with. Maybe when you know this tutorial well and have more editing experience, you can consider applying for New Page Reviewer permission. Thank you for all of your help. Liz Read! Talk! 19:26, 14 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Oh thank you for the heads up! It really motivates me to keep on doing this! I do have a question: Which type of articles should I NOT tag with CSD? Because the only one I really tag are vandalism and promotion so I really want to know which articles I should at least wait 15 minutes for. Have a nice day! Bigeshjen (talk) 06:56, 15 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I would wait on all drafts if I were you. You just tagged Draft:Datura arenicola which is a species of plant... Thriley (talk) 20:19, 15 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Quickfire templating

[edit]

Hi Bigeshjen, I noticed this edit where you added "citation needed" and "unsourced" templates to a draft that had just been created a minute earlier. In most cases it's unnecessary to add such tags to drafts. Draftspace is not articlespace, and editors have a much greater freedom to tinker with draft pages without having to make sure that the draft meets sourcing criteria. More importantly, please do not be in such a hurry to put templates on newly created pages – particularly drafts! There's no need to patrol drafts for unsourced content; that's what the AfC review process is there for. If there is blatantly inappropriate content in a draft, such as spam, attacks, or hoax content, any editor is free to remove it, but that wasn't a problem in that draft. Thanks, --bonadea contributions talk 12:00, 15 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Oh ok thank you. But I mostly do it so that the draft creator notices the problem and that they can fix it (By adding a source). But thank you anyway! Bigeshjen (talk) 12:03, 15 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion

[edit]

Please don’t immediately tag drafts for speedy deletion like you did to Draft:Datura arenicola. Drafts are often barebones when they are started and are slowly expanded. Many thousands of drafts would be lost if they were tagged and deleted right after they were created. Thriley (talk) 20:18, 15 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Oh sorry!!!! I thought that it was self promotion. I looked at the link and thought the same as well. I'm so sorry. I do nominate articles that are blatant vandalism or blatant promotion but I have wrongly seen this as a promotional article. Once again, my sincerest apologies. Bigeshjen (talk) 20:21, 15 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. Always remember to check the citations. They are usually helpful aides in determining notability. The source I used is an academic paper which would have been a clear demonstration of notability to you. Thank you for your work patrolling! Best, Thriley (talk) 20:25, 15 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, have a nice day! Bigeshjen (talk) 06:49, 16 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
