Ways to improve Ben Hutchings

[edit]

Hello, Boofhead78,

Thanks for creating Ben Hutchings! I edit here too, under the username Doomsdayer520 and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:-

Thank you for your new article on Ben Hutchings, though I recommend more sources to illustrate his notability beyond a basic list of his works.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Doomsdayer520}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Deletion discussion about Ben Hutchings

[edit]

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

A page you started (David Blumenstein) has been reviewed!

[edit]

Thanks for creating David Blumenstein.

User:Rosguill while reveiwing this page as a part of our page curation process had the following comments:

The article currently predominantly cites blogs, including the subject's own blog, which are generally not considered reliable sources (see WP:BLOGS. While it does technically cite reliable sources such as The Guardian, those citations are not to actual coverage of the subject, but instead to articles featuring illustrations by the subject, and thus do not contribute to notability. However, looking online there does appear to be significant coverage in reliable sources, such as [1]. I would suggest removing citations to blogs, adding citations to reliable sources, and hopefully reducing the overall number of cited sources on the page (more is not better, and you almost never need more than one source per claim in the article).

To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Rosguill}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ .
