What is your purpose on Wikipedia?

[edit]

I've noticed that your edits have been almost completely in your userspace, making only a few edits to article talk pages, and no edits to articles at all. What is your purpose in using Wikipedia?

Note that Wikipedia is not a web host and your usage of it seems to indicate that you think it is. --Chris | Crazycomputers (talk) 22:16, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User:Iamsteve69420/Milton-b, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Iamsteve69420/Milton-b and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Iamsteve69420/Milton-b during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Draft:Windows 12, you may be blocked from editing. A bizarre rant in UPPER CASE that had nothing to do with the question of deletion of a draft. Robert McClenon (talk) 06:38, 6 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing hoaxes, such as User:Iamsteve69420/Avatran M. Sharpovann, is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
