August 2022

[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give AEW Blood and Guts (2021) a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Royal Rumble match, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Wells Fargo Center. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:01, 30 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from 2019 Polish parliamentary election into 2023 Polish parliamentary election. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 19:45, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Removing archive from source citations

[edit]

For some reason, you removed the archives for sources at Fastlane (2023), and you did not leave an edit summary to explain why. Why did you remove these? Please use the edit summary to explain your edits. Also, please do not remove the archives without a valid reason (the only valid reason would be that the source was archived before it was fully updated because the source was being updated in real time so the archive did not contain updated info after it was archived). These are needed to prevent source deprecation (for example, if for some reason the original website were to remove that article, we would still be able to read that article from the archive). On 22 October 2023, In the news was updated with an item that involved the article 2023 Polish parliamentary election, which you updated. If you know of another recently created or updated article suitable for inclusion in ITN, please suggest it on the candidates page. Stephen 23:03, 22 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thank you for your contributions. I note your recent renaming of these articles, as well as a recent cut and paste move. Note that cut and paste moves should not be done, in order to preserve history and attribution. See HELP:MOVE. I also invite you to join the RM discussion that is underway at Talk:WWE Day 1 (2022). 162 etc. (talk) 18:48, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

WWE-TNA

[edit]

I saw the article, and I just think it is best to wait until the dust settles from Battleground to see where this goes. We've been burned about rumors of partnerships before, and I don't want this thing to turn into a fustercluck unnecessarily. If post Battleground we see more WWE-TNA intermingling, then we can always come back to this. It's just safer to make sure the water is fine before diving in...that's all I'm saying. Vjmlhds (talk) 22:32, 29 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This article seems to clarify things a bit. Long story short, it looks like Grace had her own side deal with WWE, with TNA giving her their blessings (as she is still under contract with them). And while the proverbial phone lines are open to maybe doing some business down the road, there is no official full bore partnership as of now. Vjmlhds (talk) 18:16, 30 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Judging by tonight, what I believe we're gonna see is Tatum Paxley going to TNA to fight Jordynne Grace for the Knockouts Title at Against All Odds, which will be WWE's reciprocation for "borrowing" Jordynne. That will then end the interpromotional intermingling (for now), and set up Grace vs Ash By Elegance at Slammiversary. So as things stand, there is still no formal official partnership between WWE and TNA, but they have each other's phone numbers so if they want to do some business down the road, they know how to get in touch. Numerous IP Trolls

[edit]

Since June 15th, 2024, there has a group of trolls sending falsified information going as far as fictional characters or yk stars, which is so messed up, can you request a lock, in order to combat this? 2600:1700:9AA2:4540:6938:D4D3:12D4:9B37 (talk) 19:29, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Delta

[edit]

Please do not add Delta to the WWE personnel template. There is no reliable source reporting that she has signed with WWE. Please note the list of unreliable sources and unproven source in the Pro Wrestling project area. Addicted4517 (talk) 00:41, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You did it again, and you also added Hikuleo and the Lucha Brothers when there are no reliable sources stating they have signed, and in the case of the Lucha Brothers it is only a rumour. Wikipedia doesn't deal in rumours. Addicted4517 (talk) 05:15, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Miki1234568. I noticed that you have shown interest in editing polling aggregates on election articles. I would like to bring this discussion up to your attention. If you have time, regardless of your position on this topic, I encourage you to comment there. CountyCountry (talk) 17:55, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I would as well. You've reverted an edit that had consensus backing it, and it's not a good idea to revert it unless your intention is to be reported. 49.184.140.57 (talk) 00:55, 13 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Saturday Night's Main Event

[edit]

I saw you reverted my edit on Saturday Night's Main Event. However, you didn't provide a reason and you didn't have too undo it as I don't have to explain to you that segments are not matches. How is a beer drinking contest a match? See Crown Jewel, the 2020 Backlash event and Wrestlemania 39 if you want evidence stuff like this has been deleted anyway, I was doing the same here. Also your edit goes against Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Style guide and no source is provided for these so that's WP:OR. I have undone your edit, please do not undo mine as I have Wikipedia policies guidelines backing up why I edited the article. Lemonademan22 (talk) 14:32, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Full Gear (2024)

[edit]

Regarding your formatting on Full Gear (2024), I'm not trying to offend you but, it has made it very chaotic. Do you really need to put "ref name" for everything? I also admit I did undo two of your edits by accident which I have manually undid and put the stuff you edited back in the article, that is my bad.
