I'm sorry I don't see why you have undone that. The article is called New Years Honours not New Years Honours List. Why is that wrong to correct it? And his press agent said he died peacefully. Why is that wrong to add that? - Muriel Nobbins
- Hi. Have to go now, but I'll look into this. Rothorpe (talk) 18:34, 26 May 2016 (UTC)
- Did you read my link above, Welcome to Wikipedia? Lots of good information there, including how to sign your name with four tils (~). The person who reverted your edit is in fact a robot, as its name, Cluebot, makes clear. So you're unlikely to get an answer there. But the edit summary it left, accusing you of vandalism, makes its motivation plain. And the bot is obviously wrong, you're a well-meaning new user, not a vandal, so you can just revert to your edit (Undo), and leave a summary to the effect that it wasn't vandalism. But I would guess the robot is programmed to revert 'peaceful' when someone dies, because it's an unncessary detail, and sounds a bit lke an obituary. If nothing else is said, peacefully can be inferred. As for adding 'list', the programmer would probably say it's a good habit, reads better. Hope that helps. If you want to reply to me, you can do it here (best to keep converstaions in one place), but you can always click on my 'Talk' if you have a query. Cheers, and happy editing. - Oh, I see. Thank you very much. I will try and read all of that, and sign my name like you said. Muriel Nobbins (talk) 09:06, 27 May 2016 (UTC)
