Lawrence Okoye
[edit]Just to let you know, I made a mistake with my rationale for reverting your change to Lawrence Okoye, but although the reason I stated was incorrect, it's still not right to list St Peter's College, Oxford as a college attended by Okoye. From what I can see, he's only an honorary member of the St Peter's JCR and never actually went to university at Oxford, although he does still have an offer from them on the table. – PeeJay 16:59, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Shops at Highland Commons
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Shops at Highland Commons requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. —usernamekiran(talk) 20:40, 30 May 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to New York Knicks, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. – Sabbatino (talk) 11:51, 31 May 2018 (UTC)
American footballers - notability
[edit]Hi PatriotsFOREVER126, Greetings to you. Please note the notability of american footballer - " appeared in at least one regular season or post season game in any one of the following professional leagues: the Arena Football League, the Canadian Football League, the National Football League, the fourth American Football League, the All-America Football Conference or the United States Football League, or any other top-level professional leagues" to merit a page in Wikipedia - see WP:NGRIDIRON.The players have not meet the above, the associated articles might be deleted/PRODed. Advise to wait until players have appeared in a match prior create a page in Wikipedia. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 23:10, 2 June 2018 (UTC)
Peter Pujals moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Peter Pujals, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the confirms on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. [edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Steve Novak, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. We know there are conflicting sources. This has been extensively discussed on the talk page. There is a footnote in the article discussing it. Therre is a comment in the article saying not to change it . There is a big red edit notice that pops up when you try to change it. Unless we reach consensus on the talk page that there are now reliable sources proving which year is correct we will not pick one. If you think you have such reliable sources then take it to the talk page, but "I looked it up on Google" isn't going to cut it. Meters (talk) 21:09, 25 July 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Bagumba. Your recent edit to the page R. J. Hunter appears to have added premature information about a reported sports transaction, so it has been removed for now. The transaction is based on anonymous sources and/or awaiting an official announcement. If you believe the transaction has been completed, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —Bagumba (talk) 05:17, 18 August 2018 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:Peter Pujals
[edit]Hello, PatriotsFOREVER126. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Peter Pujals".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the {{db-afc}}
, {{db-draft}}
, or {{db-g13}}
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. DannyS712 (talk) 09:16, 9 February 2019 (UTC)

Starting QB Lists
[edit]Hi PatriotsFOREVER126, I noticed your recent edits on Starting QB Lists. Usually when you are wanting to make large changes to entire categories of articles, you should try to build a little bit of consensus. In this case, the place to go would be WP:NFL. I don't necessarily agree with how you are reformatting the tables, as the number of games started in parenthesis after the name of the quarterback doesn't make sense. I.e. for Aaron Rodgers, it says (16) for the years 2014 to 2016, even though he started 48 games in those 3 years. I noticed at least one other user reverted you for the same reason. As such, I am going to start a discussion at WP:NFL to determine the consensus for these changes. Thanks, « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 14:36, 11 June 2019 (UTC)
My apologies...sorry...
Hurricanes
[edit]We have a pretty solidly standard template for how we describe hurricanes; you may notice that very few storms, if any, open up with how powerful they were in the intro, unless that power was in itself why the storm's notable. --Golbez (talk) 23:08, 1 October 2019 (UTC)
- Also, as a hardcore Carolina Panthers fan, I will do my best not to hold your name against you. I will likely fail. --Golbez (talk) 23:08, 1 October 2019 (UTC)
National Weather Service and NHC images
[edit]Hi:
All materials, unless otherwise mentioned, are copyright free on NOAA's websites and have permission {{PD-USGov-NOAA}}. So you can upload them in Wikipedia as such, not as Fair use. Furthermore, the Hurricane tracks should go in Commons, as somebody else did, not English Wiki. I then replaced the description of your File:TD Seventeen Oct 25 10 AM CDT 2019 Track.png but it will will be superseded by the Commons version.

[edit]Disambiguation link notification for January 16
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Zach Line, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fullback (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 08:55, 16 January 2020 (UTC)
Please provide edit summaries
[edit]Please provide edit summaries when editing. They help other editors understand why an edit was made. For example you made an edit to Template:New_York_(state) without an edit summary. --HugoHelp (talk) 21:29, 2 July 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Cowboys Jersey Numbers
[edit]A few points. First, the Cowboys' website has, at various times, shown them with or without numbers. It changes every once in a while. Second, the Cowboys' official website is often inaccurate for many weeks, even months, and has been inaccurate many times this season alone. It's not run by the team, it's run by a webmaster who has Cowboys press access, but it isn't guaranteed to be accurate. Third, NFL rules state that, during the regular season, no two players can share the same number. That rules stands for people who are on reserve lists as well as the active roster. Fourth, even during the preseason, when rules are relaxed, it is against the rules for two players on the same side of the ball to have the same number. RevanFan (talk) 20:52, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
Could you please tell me what changes you made with this edit? You did not leave an edit summary, and I'm not sure if I should revert it. Thanks. Magnolia677 (talk) 15:09, 15 September 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 20:02, 17 September 2021 (UTC)
- I'm not sure where you are getting some of your information from but several of your recent edits were inaccurate changes. When it comes to practice squad players, their numbers are rarely provided anywhere else other than roster listings on teams' websites. So you are in fact violating WP:OR by adding numbers without a reliable source confirming the number. Also, your edit at Dustin Colquitt was inaccurate as well. He was signed to the practice squad and no transaction has occurred elevating him to the active roster. I see you have had issues with changing articles without providing a reliable source with the change. This needs to stop or you will get blocked.--Rockchalk717 00:15, 27 September 2021 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Template:Baltimore Ravens roster. Rockchalk717 22:30, 27 September 2021 (UTC)
- @Rockchalk717: I think an ANI is probably necessary. Just created an article with zero sources at Naquan Jones. Best, GPL93 (talk) 18:34, 4 October 2021 (UTC)
The article Naquan Jones has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Request reason:
I honestly was mistaken in not sourcing these edits. Most of what pertains to this ban likely relates to my edits of the NFL rosters, which I completely understand. A lot of my edits were grammatical and format fixing, and updates to information. If this happens again, feel free to completely ban me. I know how much you guys value a complete and accurate article database, so I should have been more caring in what I edited and how I did it. I also know how important of a role I possess to dispense accurately and properly sourced information. I need to be more responsible with how I edit. I can't just do it to my liking, I need to do it to represent accurate information. I also want to point out, as stated earlier, that even with all of my disruptive behavior, I still contribute accurately to this community. I have been a part of the Wikipedia community for almost a decade, and I really don't want this to be the end of the line.
Decline reason:

Any edits involving living people must be well sourced per the Biographies of Living Persons policy. Please review that policy and describe how your edits will differ going forward, and also commit to better communication with other users. 331dot (talk) 07:12, 24 October 2021 (UTC)
