Stacey King

[edit]

RE your edits to the Chicago Bulls championship templates: are you sure that Stacey King wore 21? All the pictures I've seen show him wearing 34. Zagalejo^^^ 20:52, 16 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, it appears he changed his jersey from 34 to 21 before the 1991-92 season. You were exactly right. Sorry about that. Zagalejo^^^ 06:40, 18 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

current roster templates

[edit]

Could you create these templates with small "c" and small "r" instead? Thanks, Crzycheetah 03:50, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This template does not belong on the main article, as there is a section dedicated to the players, namely current roster, in the article. This template should only be added to the players/coaches listed in the template, as their name will appear bold in this template of their respective article. Also, this template has a gold trim from the very beginning and obviously it is one of Boston's colors. The Celtics have been wearing their special St. Patrick's jerseys for the last 5 games, which has gold in it. ● 8~Hype @ 12:28, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't disregard what I wrote here and stop changing the template. ● 8~Hype @ 11:06, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I beg your pardon, but either you update the article properly, or don't do it at all. There are many links which can be specified more precisely, such "North Carolina", which should link to "University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill" and not "University of North Carolina", and the positions: All the positions link to "basketball position", whereas I explained in detail how to put the positions on the article's talk page. You're doing a poor job as of now. ● 8~Hype @ 11:05, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Bostonceltics st. patrick's jersey.gif)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Bostonceltics st. patrick's jersey.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:04, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

ABC to be sequestered by the government?

[edit]

Can you provide references to this entry you've recently added? Seems that this is just a rumor. ABC is a privately-owned company and the government cannot sequester a TV network or any other corporation that easily unless we are under martial law. -Danngarcia (talk) 14:50, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Hi Ralphierce!
We thank you for uploading Image:OrlandoMagicUniforms1989-98.PNG, but there is a problem. Your image is currently missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Unless you can help by adding a copyright tag, it may be deleted by an Administrator. If you know this information, then we urge you to add a copyright tag to the image description page. We apologize for this, but all images must confirm to policy on Wikipedia.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks so much for your cooperation.

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Magicoriginalhomeuniform.gif

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Magicoriginalhomeuniform.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. FASTILYsock(TALK) 06:20, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:OrlandoMagicHomeUniform19992003.gif. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. FASTILYsock(TALK) 06:21, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

New York Mets uniform images

[edit]

Noticed your additions of a series of images for the Mets uniforms. I had two comments.

Firstly, while I understand the idea is to show the subtle differences, such as the road-hats-at-home combo, I'm not sure it's needed considering the existing infobox image. At the very least, no other team page has a similar gallery, so I just don't think it's needed.

Even if we do keep it, we need a better image for the home uniforms. The current Angel Pagan image has the hat obscured by his sunglasses, defeating the purpose. But again, I just don't think the gallery is necessary at all. oknazevad (talk) 01:35, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited 1994 NBA Finals, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page John Starks (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). NFL Scoring Graphics

[edit]

I have noticed you change the scoring graphics for the NBC Sunday Night Football page. I have some legitimate NFL on FOX and NFL on CBS photos that can be updated, but I cannot add pictures onto pages yet. Do you mind if I send these to you so you could post them on their assigned pages? Thanks! Albino Geronimo (talk) 17:37, 18 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

NBA Droughts

[edit]

Active droughts

All teams and years need to be listed. If not, it appears as though the teams were omitted. Also, there are many people who do not know all the team names and by not having a complete list of teams, it is not a good reference for non NBA followers. Orphaned non-free media (File:CharlotteBobcatsRacingDayUniforms.gif)

Thanks for uploading File:CharlotteBobcatsRacingDayUniforms.gif.

Hi. When you recently edited 1986 NBA Finals, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Rodney McCray (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Your recent edits

[edit]

Hi there. I have noticed some of your recent edits, and I therefore strongly recommend that you read Wikipedia:Redirect#Do not "fix" links to redirects that are not broken. Otherwise, you'll spend many unnecessary hours "fixing" links to American stadium articles that will most likely be renamed again once their respective naming rights have expired. For example, Dolphin/Land Shark/Sun Life Stadium had three different names over a span of three years, and "fixing" all those redirects over and over again generally became a waste of time.

Non-free use of File:2003espngraphics.JPG

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:2003espngraphics.JPG. However, there is a concern that the use of the image on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. Details of this problem, and which specific criteria that the image may not meet, can be obtained by going to the image description page. If you feel that this image does meet those criteria, please place a note on the image description or talk page explaining why. Do not remove the {{di-fails NFCC}} tag itself.

An administrator will review this file within a few days, and having considered the opinions placed on the image page, may delete it in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion or remove the tag entirely. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Prime Ticket 2012 logo.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Prime Ticket 2012 logo.jpg.

Thank you. Diannaa (talk) 21:49, 29 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Major League Baseball annual runs batted in leaders, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page José Abreu (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
