[edit]Hello, I'm Struway2. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Darren Purse, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Disambiguation link notification for July 11
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Edinburgh Capitals, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page North Vancouver. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Please stop
[edit]Please stop adding ice hockey players to incorrect categories. You do not appear to understand how categories work—we don't add things to parent categories when they are already a member of an appropriate child category. If you keep doing it I may have to block you to stop the disruption. --Laser brain (talk) 15:51, 26 July 2016 (UTC)
- Just noticed you are still doing this, if a player is already in a team category he does not also go in the league category. -DJSasso (talk) 01:44, 16 September 2017 (UTC)

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!
[edit]Hello, Thirdand10. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)
ECHL
[edit]Just a heads up, but the ECHL has not been named the "East Coast Hockey League" since 2003. In 2003, the league absorbed the West Coast Hockey League and instead of rebranding the merged leagues, they just changed the name to the orphaned initialism of ECHL and not as an acronym. So there is no need to link to East Coast Hockey League and it should also not officially be defined that way (even though many reporters still make that mistake, they see what appears to be acronym and feel they must define it). Thank you, Yosemiter (talk) 14:49, 30 June 2017 (UTC)
